Sheila Buckner is
married to Gary Buckner. They have
one son, Joshua Buckner. Gary and Sheila
have been married for 30 years. She is
the Daughter of Rev. Ray and Wanda
Chandler. Sheila has one sister, Connie
McBee, and one brother, Michael Chandler.
She is the Daughter-in-Law of the late
Junior Buckner and Irene Buckner.Sheila
is a member of Rutledge Pike Missionary
Baptist Church, where she serves as the
Organist.
Sheila was elected and currently serves
as Councilwoman for the City of Luttrell.
She was responsible for Luttrell's First
Christmas Parade and Luttrell's Christmas
Tree Lighting and Memorial. She showed
great interest in getting the Luttrell
Seniors organized.
Sheila is very active in the community
and is a member of the following boards
and committees: Union County Chamber of
Commerce (President-Elect), Luttrell
Senior Citizens (President), Union County
Leadership, Union County Library Board,
Union County Children's Center
The future of Union County is important
to her. She would like to see Union County
grow in industry, beautification and
leadership.
Sheila is honest and open minded and
believes in hard work and feels it is a
honor to serve as Second District County
Commissioner for Union County.
