Sandra has two sons, Garon “Logan” Oxendine and James “Jim”
Burl Greene and attends Fairview Baptist Church. She was
graduated from Horace Maynard High School and attended
Walter State Community College and receives ongoing job
related training.
Since 1981, she has worked with the Union County Soil
Conservation District in general clerical duties, applying
for operational grants, planning conservation education
events such as health fairs, career days, and farm days.
Her other duties include watershed projects including
coordinating field days and public outreach meetings with
partnering agencies such as Natural Resources Conservation
Service, Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Tennessee
Valley Authority. In general, Sandra works with clients,
developers other agencies, providing soil, topo, aireal, and
flood maps as requested.
Sandra
is a member of: Tennessee Conservation District Employee
Association, Union County Business and Professional
Association, Leadership Union County Class of 2001, Union
County Chamber of Commerce, and Keep Union County Beautiful
Board.
